Balkan Youth Environmental Assembly

Our Future First

The Balkan Youth Environment Assembly (BYEA) is a youth-led initiative on regional environmental issues, supported by UNEP MGCY and held ahead of UNEA 5.2.

As BYEA’s project coordinator and workshop trainer, I focused on sustainable tourism and biodiversity. Together with 80 participants we drafted a proposal to amend environmental laws in the Balkans and translated it into every regional language for submission to UNEP and other parties.

Healthy Squared

Our non-governmental organisation promotes healthy living, health and peace. Within it we ran a project for young people in two cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In Maglaj and Breza we organised workshops, round-table discussions and city races, where participants could talk with nutritionists, ecologists and trainers about building a healthier life.
